P/mint continues work on EUDR implementation

The European Commission has initiated a process to postpone the entry into force of the EUDR regulation by another year – from 30 December 2025 to 30 December 2026. The final decision has not yet been made and will require negotiations between the European Commission, the European Parliament, and the EU Council. The proposed postponement is due to numerous unresolved questions regarding the practical implementation of the regulation.

P/mint confirms that it meets the current EUDR requirements and continues its work according to the original schedule, regardless of the European Commission’s decision.

We have supported this initiative from the very beginning and are actively working to ensure full compliance with the regulation’s requirements. Sustainability and transparency in forestry remain our priorities” emphasizes Katarzyna Kuna, EUDR Liaison Officer at P/mint.

The EUDR, originally set to take effect on 30 December 2024, has already been postponed by one year. However, the proposal for another extension does not change P/mint’s approach – the company continues to take consistent action to be fully prepared and to ensure that its partners’ processes comply with all regulatory requirements.
